I gave my love to a shooting star (2021)

A fresh take on embroidered craft materials while sticking to the traditional circular framing device. This work is inspired by lyrics from the electronic dui Bag Raiders 2010 hit Shooting Stars a song about a relationship that is hard to keep as it goes too fast. Subsequently a decade later, this song became a Tik Tok hit that was later sold as a NFT.

Composition: Found materials - cotton fabric , cotton and metallic thread, glass and plastic beads, cotton and acrylic trimming, stuffing, mounted on foam core.
